Physical Labor!

On Tuesday, we raked, cleaned fire pits and picked up litter in 37 campsites in about 7 hours.  We are bushed but we finished one of our 2 loops.  Only a few campers were arriving.  We wanted to get the loop done before our day off so we pushed ourselves.

Kids built this fort for the chipmunk to play in.  Can you see the chipmunk?

This one is getting braver.

Someone screwed a pie plate to the tree for a food dish.

Now, the Stellar Jay wants a piece of the action.

There are some corn bites here somewhere.

Now that summer season is over, the extra dumpster gets moved to storage.  I want to learn to drive this tractor before the end of the month. Our friend, Roger, is the driver.

This chipmunk was taking a break on the wood pile in our campsite.

One camper said their picnic table was wobbly so the maintenance crew got a new one for the site.

Dust masks are a necesary pain. Lots of dust and fire pit ash in the air.
